Surface Water Extraction
Global Water can provide floating or land-based surface water extraction for water supply, mine dewatering, and effluent pond discharge applications. Surface water pump systems are selected to handle extreme storm water run-off such as culverts, lagoons, lakes and rivers. We have experience with floating pontoon systems, skid or trailer-mounted pumping systems, and wet or dry well pump stations.
We will collaborate with you to design and provide a purpose-built surface water extraction system, tailored to your extraction and pipeline pumping needs. We offer in-house manufacturing to limit assembly onsite and facilitate testing in a controlled environment. Our site team has experience working in remote locations to manage installation and commissioning once the system is delivered to site.

 

E-Boost Pressure Booster Systems
The Global Water e-Boost range comprises potable water transfer systems designed to pressurise clean water in commercial and industrial projects.

These systems often include vertical multi-stage pumps paired with VFDs (variable frequency drives) to respond to fluctuating demands. Cascade control logic ensures that pump running hours are evenly distributed across the system. Controllers monitor demand and seamlessly pace system output, adjusting pump speed and varying the number of duty pumps to maintain constant pressure. In-built system monitoring, including a feedback loop, 
ensures maximum reliability and support. These systems can also be configured for constant flow operation when used with a digital flow meter.

Other standard functionalities include mechanical seal protection, thermal overloads, no-flow alarms, pipe burst alarms, and power protection. The e-Boost systems can include up to eight pumps in parallel, with the option of jacking pumps where required. With flows up to 30 L/s and pressures up to 2900 kPa, these systems are suitable for a range of applications from toilet flushing to large industrial projects. Larger flows and pressures can be achieved using end-suction centrifugal pumps.

Common applications include domestic cold water booster pump sets for apartment buildings, hotels, corporate high-rises, industrial complexes, mining camps, and municipal potable water supply. The addition of filtration and rain/mains changeover systems also allows for use in rainwater reuse applications.

 

Fire Pump Systems

Developed to meet the demands for fully automated, turn-key packaged systems that exceed fire industry standards, Global Water fire protection systems are available in single or dual arrangements, with electric and/or diesel drive configurations. These fire protection water boosting systems are designed for hydrant, sprinkler, and drencher applications.

Options include containerised units, heavy-duty skid bases, integrated hose reels, and jacking pumps. Global Water provides design, engineering, installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance services and support.

Fixed speed systems

This system incorporates one or more pumps with cascade pressure switch control. The systems can further enhance by a dedicated pump controller fed by one or more pressure transducer with multiple-pump capability.

Industrial and commercial systems

These systems are designed and built to meet the highest engineering standards for a wide range of water use, treatment, circulation and disposal applications. Fully automated pumping packages incorporate process controllers built to cater for specific design parameters. These packages are prefabricated with pumps, pipework and valves, with the option of on-board electrical controls and instrumentation to simplify site installation.

 Water treatment systems

Global Water’s water treatment systems are designed and manufactured from standardised components and modular designs to meet specific customer and site requirements. Most important, they are constructed to be compliant with relevant World Health standards and local statutory requirements.

 Fire protection pumps

Global Water offer a specialised range of packaged fire protection systems that comply with all relevant Australian standards. Support services are provided initial engineering assistance through to on-site commissioning. These Fire Protection Pumpsets are available in diesel and electric drive configuration, assembled on a common fabricated base with pipework manifolds, valves and electrical controls to provide a fully automated system.

 All pumping system packages are fully tested prior to delivery. This enables operational parameters to be set and the entire system sequence tested under simulated site conditions. It also reduces on-site installation time and ensures trouble-free and reliable operations.
