Global Water has worked with clients across Australasia to deliver projects for a variety of industries. For real-world examples, view our case-studies below.
A coastal residential project presented unique installation requirements for a stormwater pump station. To ensure optimal performance and protection in such a corrosive environment, Global Water engineered a custom concrete pump station to allow for potential flooding, including emergency storage and a stainless-steel battery backup system. This case study demonstrates how our innovative solution addressed the specific site requirements and delivered a reliable, long-term pumping system.
A residential project situated in a coastal area encountered installation challenges due to the soil type and the positioning of a pump station. It took us approximately 6 weeks to complete the project, from confirming design and manufacturing the required solution to supplying it to the site for installation.
Coastal areas frequently pose unique construction challenges due to factors such as soil erosion, exposure to saltwater, and high water table. Therefore, projects in coastal regions often require specialised planning and design to address specific environmental conditions and potential obstacles.
Global Water designed a concrete pump station that could handle incoming water and included emergency storage capacity in case the pumps stopped working to prevent flooding at surface.
The package also included a special controller made from durable stainless steel 316 material. This controller ensured that the pumps worked automatically, and also added a battery backup system also made from stainless steel. The battery backup could keep the pumps running in case of a power outage at max performance for around 50 minutes.
This pump station with contingency design features, ensures that the pump station could protect this residency from a number of risks.
2 x Concrete Stormwater Pump Stations
2 x Stainless Steel Battery Backup Units (In case of power outage)
Our products offer valuable advantages to a range of stakeholders, including residential and commercial plumbers, civil contractors, and, of course, end-users. The Global Water team collaborates closely with engineering firms to develop solutions that are not only superior but also cost-effective. This collaborative approach ensures that our products meet the diverse needs of professionals while delivering value across the board.
